The Expectations
A Client’s use of an architect to develop a concept design provides information for planning, costing, and construction.
Basic specifications on materials, general construction arrangements, and orientational elevations help to deliver the project.
Ultimately approval on how this information is processed and delivered by the contractor is provided by Building Control Inspectors.

Client Concern
The Challenge
The approved plans detailed a Foundation General Arrangement, our initial task was to support the contractor in setting out the foundation extents so that the main bulk earthworks could be removed, and the foundation construction could commence.
Upon arrival at site we found that a topographic survey of the site had not been completed as part of the initial development of the Architects Design. A topographic Survey was completed, processed, and the foundation design was scaled to create a working model for the project.
Under direction from the client regarding how the project was to be orientated within the site extents we were then able to set the development out.

Our Solution
Tasked to set the project out, we were able to liaise with the Architect to process the design into its onsite application. Helping the client to optimise the geographical positioning of the design.
We were also able to work with the client’s construction contractor to set out the building extents once the foundations had been constructed.

We took direction from the client and the Architects conceptual design, processed the site topographies, and set out the development for construction.
I can genuinely say Adam is one of the most helpful guys I have met whilst building my house.
